About us

Rachel and Holli are an emerging duo on the Scottish Traditional music scene. they first met in 2016 while participating in the Argyll Ceilidh Trail and have since honed their individual craft as musicians, performers and teachers. In 2022, accordion player and pianist, Rachel Campbell, graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland with a BMus in Traditional Music. Holli Scott has gained extensive experience playing fiddle with various groups across the Scottish ceilidh and session scene. They have both performed extensively across Scotland, and performed in other countries including Spain and Germany.

Now based in Glasgow, they are excited to collaborate on this shared project. Drawing on their roots in Argyll, where they both grew up, they bring a fresh sound that blends accordion, piano, fiddle, and vocals. Their music weaves original compositions with traditional melodies through immersive arrangements that highlight texture and interplay. Passionate about bringing their music to community venues, they value creating performances that feel intimate and welcoming. In July 2025, Rachel and Holli released their debut single, In the Stream. They have since gone on to win a ‘Danny’ in the Danny Kyle Open Stage at Celtic Connections 2026, and are currently recording their debut EP, due for release in May.
